2010 - Continues his winning ways by taking two points race victories and stretching his impressive winning streak to nine consecutive Cup Series seasons. Qualifies for the Chase for the fifth time in seven years. Finishes 11th in the final Cup Series standings. Sweeps the May races at Charlotte Motor Speedway by claiming the pole and victory in the Sprint All-Star Race. Claims the $1,078,309 first-place prize in spectacular fashion, coming back from hitting the wall earlier in the race to lead the final eight laps. Comes back the following week to claim the outside pole and dominate during the race at Charlotte. Leads 12 times for a race-high 252 laps en route to his 22nd career win and first-ever Coca-Cola 600 victory. Also wins the March race at Atlanta for his second consecutive spring race victory at the track. Posts nine top-five finishes and 17 top-10s over the course of the season. Wins pole position in February at Las Vegas Motor Speedway and also captures the pole in June at Michigan International Speedway.

2009 - Earns best championship result since his title-winning season of 2004 when he finishes fourth in the final Cup Series standings. Wins for the eighth consecutive Cup Series season when he captures the checkered flag at Atlanta in March. Leads 234 of 330 laps in the dominant victory. Earns top starting position of second five times during the course of the season. Qualifies for the Chase and enjoys a strong run posting seven top-10 results over the final 10 races of the season. Records second victory of the season at Texas during the Chase. The win earns one lucky fan – Michael McGee, the 2009 Dickies Worker of the Year – a $1 million prize for selecting Busch as the winner prior to the race. The victory also earned $10,000 for Operation Homefront through Miller Lite. Posts 10 top-five and 21 top-10 results overall, equaling his production from his championship season. According to official NASCAR Loop Data statistics, leads all Cup Series drivers in percentage of laps run on the lead lap (93.46%) and ranks second in average running position (10.520), fastest on race restarts (9.722), quality passes (1,827) and fastest speed in traffic (10.583).

2008 - Enjoys strong start to the NASCAR Cup Season by leading nine laps and finishing second, right behind Penske Racing teammate Ryan Newman, at the Daytona 500. Earns season-best starting spot of second at Dover International Speedway in late May. Scores a win at New Hampshire International Speedway in late June, for his third career victory at Loudon's one-mile oval. The finish gives Busch at least one victory in seven straight seasons of Cup racing. Finishes fourth at Daytona in July for his second top-five result of the season at the legendary superspeedway. Earns a third-place finish at Charlotte's Lowe's Motor Speedway in October. Closes the season strong producing top-10 finishes in five of the final 11 races of the year. Leads 60 laps at Phoenix in November on his way to a second-place finish. Ranks eighth in points among all Cup drivers in 2008 restrictor-plate race competition.

2007 - Busch finishes seventh in final NEXTEL Cup standings after producing two wins and one pole in his second season driving for Penske Racing. He leads a race record 175 out of 200 laps at Pocono for his first win of the season. Two weeks later Busch claims another win, this time at Michigan International Speedway. Two weeks after that, Busch wins the pole at California Speedway. He also earns a pole in Busch Series competition, claiming the top qualifying spot at Watkins Glen. Leads all Cup drivers in quality passes (1,854), percentage of quality passes (72.4%), miles led (1,691.826) and percentage of miles led (11.93%) over the course of the season. Ranks second among all drivers in points at restrictor-plate races. Busch and the No. 2 Miller Lite team are also presented the season-long Mobil 1 Command Performance Award in post-season honors.

2006 - Busch wins his fifth race at Bristol, tying him for third on the all-time victory list at the high-banked short track. He also ties for the most poles won during the season with six, a career season high. Busch earns the most top-10 starts with 24, and is the only driver to win back-to-back poles. In the Busch Series, he wins his inaugural race at Texas in April. At Watkins Glen in August, he wins the pole for the NEXTEL Cup and Busch Series races and is victorious in the Busch Series event.

2005 - Busch produces three victories, nine top-five and 18 top-10 finishes to place 10th in the point standings. It is the third time in the last four years that Busch has finished in the top 10; Busch signs with Penske Racing for 2006.

2004 - Wins the series championship in the first season of the Chase for the NEXTEL Cup; Claims the title by eight points over Jimmie Johnson, the narrowest margin in NASCAR history; Finishes the season with three victories, one pole, 10 top-five and 21 top-10 finishes; After the season opening Daytona 500, Busch is 16th in the standings. He then spends the remaining 35 races in the top 10; Takes the standings lead with eight races remaining in the 10-race “Chase” and maintains it despite a blown engine in his Ford at Atlanta and a detached right-front wheel early in the season finale at Homestead; In the final 10 races, Busch collects one victory, six top-five and nine top-10 finishes; Sweeps both races at New Hampshire International Speedway; Acquires a record 55 bonus points during “The Chase”, leading in all but one of the events and leading the most laps twice – Loudon and Martinsville; Obtains third consecutive victory at Bristol; Captures third career pole in the season finale at Homestead.

2003 - Wins the IROC championship with one victory and finishes of fourth or better in the four events comprising the series; Records four victories, nine top-five and 14 top-10 finishes; Places 11th in the series standings; Sweeps the Bristol races; Loses the spring Darlington race to Ricky Craven by 0.002 second, the sport’s closest victory margin since the advent of electronic timing and scoring.

2002 - Finishes third in the series standings, Busch’s first year in the top 10; Wins three of the season’s final five races; Busch wins four races while posting 12 top-five and 20 top-10 finishes; Pushes his career winnings to more than $6.2 million in just two full seasons in the Cup Series; Posts back-to-back victories in October at Martinsville and Atlanta; Earns first Cup victory at Bristol on March 24; Leads 933 laps in 21 different races; Finishes fourth in his first All-Star race at Charlotte; Places in the top five in three of the four races at Daytona and Talladega; Earns his second career pole for the season finale at Homestead and then wins the race.

2001 - Earns first career Cup pole at Darlington and leads 74 laps; Wins more than $2.1 million in his rookie season; Posts three top five finishes – third in Talladega 500, fourth in Harrah’s 400 at Texas, and fifth in Brickyard 400 at Indianapolis; Finishes second in the Rookie-of-the-Year competition; Leads his first lap in Cup competition on April 22 at Talladega and goes on to a then career-best finish of third; Records first Cup top-10 finish in season’s fourth race on March 11 at Atlanta; Collects first top-five finish three races later on April 1 at Texas.

2000 - Makes Cup Series debut on Sept. 24 at Dover, starts 10th and finishes 18th; Competes in seven of the final eight Cup races for Roush Racing; Best Cup finish is 13th at Lowe’s Motor Speedway in October; Posts two top-10 starts in those Cup races; Competes full time in NASCAR’s Craftsman Truck Series; Records top-five finishes in three of his first four starts; Ends Truck season with four victories, four runner-up finishes, four pole positions, second place finish in the point standings, and Rookie-of-the-Year title.

1999 - Wins NASCAR Southwest Series Championship with six victories, including four straight; Finishes eighth in his first Winston West race at Las Vegas Motor Speedway; Earns a ride with Roush Racing’s Truck team following that organization’s “Gong Show” talent search.

1998 - Earns NASCAR Southwest Series Rookie-of-the-Year title with one victory, three top-five and seven top-10 finishes in 17 races; Wins Southwest race at Las Vegas Motor Speedway at the Bullring; Finishes third at Sears Point Raceway in first career road course event; Records 15 victories in 18 starts in the Legends Cars and Grand American Modified Series.

1997 - Competes in Late Models, American Race Trucks, Legends and Dwarf Cars; Starts five Southwest Tour races; Full-time student pursuing a degree in pharmaceutical science at the University of Arizona in Tucson.

1996 - Champion in three divisions at L. V. Speedway Park – Hobby Stock, Legends and Dwarf Cars; Wins Legends Cars National Rookie-of-the-Year title.
