Keselowski Qualifies 13th at Chicagoland Speedway

JOLIET, Ill. (September 15, 2012) – Brad Keselowski and the No. 2 Miller Lite Dodge Charger team qualified 13th for Sunday’s Geico 400 at Chicagoland Speedway.Keselowski toured the 1.5-mile oval in 29.793 seconds, or 181.507 miles per hour, in in the Saturday afternoon time trial session. Sam Hornish Jr will start from the 16th position in the Shell/Pennzoil Dodge.
“Qualifying is area where we need to be better during the Chase,” said Keselowski. “This is definitely an improvement over where we have been starting on the mile-and-a-half tracks. I’m really excited about our race package for tomorrow.”
The Geico 400 will air live at 2:00 p.m. ET on ESPN on Sunday afternoon. Race coverage will also be broadcast live on the Motor Racing Network and Sirius Satellite Radio Channel 90.
